The SK-102 is a short-barreled version of the SK-101, chambered in 5.56mm NATO but with a shorter 12.5″ barrel. Using standard ammunition, the muzzle velocity from the SK-102 army rifle is approximately 2900 fps as compared to 3100 fps from the SK-101. The SK-102 comes with a side-folding stock that, when folded, results in an overall length of only 23″. By comparison, a 12.5″ AR-15 carbine with an M4-style stock collapsed measures 28.5″ in length.
